Sweetwater County School District #2 requires that the transportation of their students is to be a functioning part of the overall educational experience. Therefore the primary responsibility of the Transportation Department is to provide a safe, efficient, and economical service to their patrons. Although the School District has provided this service for many years, at the present time we are facing several important challenges. Such as, our growing population, the changes occurring with diesel fuel, the rising cost of all types of fuel, and the ever present challenge of finding and recruiting the best qualified drivers. At this time we feel confident that we have the ability to successfully meet these challenges now and into the future. We are excited to continue this very important service for the 2008-2009 school year.
